Upwards on 200 children have met each day from 1- August for the Annual Bible Club organised by Arklow Presbyterian Church. As the Church is being renovated the bible club was held in Saint Mary's Primary School.
I received the video link below from my good friend Roger Carswell who has also requested prayer for a special project he is involved with.
' I have a very important prayer request, please. I have the opportunity to provide 1.2 million small gospel magazines which are going to be delivered to homes in the Greater Manchester and Liverpool areas later in the month. We are in the final stages of preparing it, then next week it will go to print, to be delivered free of charge at the end of May. Please pray for the impact of this. There is a short video about it, if you open up www.10ofthose.com/charity-donation.php
1 Corinthians 15:3, 4 & 14 NLT Christ died for our sins, just as the scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, as the scriptures said. If Christ was not raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your trust in God is useless
Have we as Christians lost confidence in the bible?
Recent research has shown that many Chrsitians no longer read their bibles daily.
Awake to Jesus has been organised by the Board of Mission in Ireland. It is a way to encourage people in our congregations and in the community to once again get into the habit of reading the bible each day.
To order copies for your congregation click the Awake to Jesus logo on this site.
Listen to Ed Stetzer who gives good reasons why we need to get back to the bible.
