Prayer request from South Belfast

Wednesday 22 June am

 

Please pray for Stuart who walked into the drop-in yesterday (Tuesday 21 June) looking for a minister.  He has a drink and drug habit that is out of control, it's so bad he was coughing blood yesterday.  He was walking by the church and felt the need to go in and ask for help.  Interestingly, it was yesterday I had a visitor from Orangefield Presbyterian who is seeking God's guidance about his future.

 

 Alan has a great burden for the lost particularly alcoholics and those with drug addictions.  Michael quickly passed Stuart over to Alan and they had a long conversation.  The upshot of which is that Stuart agreed to go to a Christian community in Dublin that will help him recover. Alan then took Stuart to casualty in the City.

 

Update Wednesday 22 June pm

Stuart has gone to Antrim Hospital for a few days.  His GP is talking to Betel in Dublin about his drug problem.  Michael got a message from Stuart this morning saying he was praying and thanking God. Please keep Stuart on  your prayer list.

Mission Ireland : International Carol Service

 

 

On Wednesday evening the 15 December Keith Preston  organised a Carol service with a difference.

Good News from South Belfast

Thank you all for your continued support in prayer. 

Praise God; the two girls who became Christians are being baptised later this month in Fitzroy Presbyterian Church ,  two weeks after that they will become full members there. 

 

Update from Outreach in South Belfast

Praise God for two Iranians who have given their lives to the Lord.  Please pray for them as they begin new lives as Christians.
