Please pray for our Summer Camp in Mullingar from 11 – 17 July, and the PCI Summer Team who are joining with us to share in our work.
Pray that as children, young people and adults engage with the Good News, they would believe it, the kingdom would grow and the church built.
Glenelly, Corrick & Badoney Presbyterian Churches – Revd Rodney Thompson
Prayer and Praise for:
Praise God for well attended Children’s Day services recently, where once again the gospel was clearly presented.
Pray that the good seed of the Word that was sown would germinate unto salvation in the lives of both parents and children.
Pray for the ongoing ministry of the Word, that through it many would come to know Jesus personally and that those who already know him would get to know him better.
Pray for the Holiday Bible Club for children being held from 4 – 8 July.
Strand Presbyterian Church – Revd Danny Rankin & Deaconess Sharon Heron
Prayer and Praise for:
An item of praise: We finished our June services in the school with a BBQ at Crawfordsburn, with many of our own folk attending; but also many of the families who we have been working with over the past year. It was a great success. God has really blessed us during our time at the school.
Pray for the congregation as we adapt to another change. While the school is completely closed over the summer, we are meeting in the local Church of Ireland halls.
Pray that God would continue to have his hand upon us and we would continue to grow and learn more of him and his plan upon our lives.
Pray for the demolition of the old building. Work has started. However, on Saturday 2 July vandals burnt down the halls at the back of the church. Some damage was done to nearby properties.
Do pray for this ongoing work and the protection of the building as it is taken down.
Pray that this incident won’t damage relationships with people in the area. For pictures and report from UTV go to www.missionireland.typepad.com.

Carndonagh & Malin Presbyterian Churches
This week, and in conjunction with Moville and Greenbank Congregations - a Holiday Bible School is being held. "Hero Headquarters" is being conducted by the Revd Gordon Best and a team from his Congregation of Newmills, near Portadown. This event, which attracts over 100 children each day, began last Sunday with a Commissioning Service conducted by the Revd Joseph Fell - the Vacancy Convener. The Service was followed by a lunch for all the Congregation and visitors. The evening meetings for the children are held in Greenbank's new and well equipped Church Hall. The Revd Best and his team were welcomed at Carndonagh last Saturday evening when a BBQ was enjoyed by all.

Friendship House, Sandy Row Belfast
Prayer and Praise for:
Please continue to pray for Friendship House as there will be major staff changes in July and August. Ashley is leaving to go to a Presbyterian Church in America as a Young Adult Volunteer on 17 August. Also, Natalie’s term as a full-time volunteer with BSW Volunteer programme finishes at the end of August.
Please pray for their replacements, that God would be preparing the right people for the posts already and that the positions will be filled quickly and efficiently.
Give thanks for Ashley and Natalie. Their work among the children and early teens has been an inspiration. They have given themselves sacrificially in true service of their Lord. They will remain in the hearts of our young people for a very long time, as they, I know, will hold our young people in theirs.
Please pray for Ashley and Natalie as they take up new positions.
Pray for the Youth Team from Woodlands, Carrickfergus who will be working in Sandy Row from 1 – 5 July.
