Revd Knox Jones – Fahan Presbyterian Church
On Sunday 12 June a special commissioning service will be held in Fahan Presbyterian Church at 8.00 pm for Miss Claire Lamberton. Clare and her family have been deeply involved in the work and witness of the Fahan congregation, and she has recently been accepted by CEF to work locally in schools, clubs and camps.
Pray for:
Pray for the service to be meaningful and uplifting and for God’s continued blessing to rest upon Claire.
Revd Colin Dickson – Cavanaleck and Aughentaine Presbyterian Churches
Praise and Prayer for:
Give thanks that after the Salt Shaker Conference on evangelism a Seeker Bible study is now up and running every Tuesday morning.
Give thanks also for a follow-up Bible study from the recent Fit4Life course running every Monday night. They are also using the same Seeker Bible Study material.
Pray for those who are seeking, that they will come to faith in Christ and that the Christians will grow in their faith.
Revd Janice Browne – Kerrykeel Presbyterian Church
Pray for:
Pray for the Vintage Rally taking place in the Church grounds on Saturday 11 June.
Pray that the day will be one of fun, fellowship and fund-raising for worthy causes.
Billy Patterson – Drogheda
Pray for:
Pray for the Hotel Bible Study on Wednesday nights. Attendance has been very encouraging with new people regularly attending.
Continue to pray for Pat Patterson, who is coming to the end of her cancer treatment course.
William Workman – Athy
Praise and Prayer for:
Praise God for the 35 people who attended an Alpha Course in Athy, and the 20 who attended the follow-up Bible Studies. William had the privilege of leading Bible Studies on Mark’s gospel to two groups during May as a follow-up to Alpha.
Pray for the leaders as they consider running another Alpha Course in September, and possibly a Bible Study for those who have already done the Alpha Course.
Pray for all who attended; that they will continue to read and study God’s Word.
Deaconesses
Margaret Robertson – Gardenmore, Larne
Pray for:
Please continue to pray for Margaret as she awaits surgery, which is due to take place this week.
Jackie O’Neill – Joymount, Carrickfergus
Pray for:
Senior Members Sunday on 12 June, at both morning and evening services. There will be a salad tea served before the evening service.
Please pray for all who will be taking part in this very special day and that lives will be touched by the Holy Spirit.
Please pray for safety on 13 June as our mothers and toddlers group hope to travel to Carnfunnock Country Park for our summer treat.
