Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention 2011

The 75th Annual Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention will be held from 20 to 27 August 2011 in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church Bangor.

However the opening meeting of the Convention on Saturday 20 August will be an evening of Worldwide Celebration and Praise and will take place in the Waterfront Hall Belfast. This is a ticket event and tickets are available from the Waterfront Hall Belfast www.waterfront.co.uk

Wycliffe Bible Translators

Wycliffe Bible Translators are sad to announce the death of their member Mary Gardner in a terrorist explosion in Jerusalem on 23 March 2011 where she was studying Hebrew at The Home for Bible Translators

Rebecca Manley Pippert: Salt Shaker Conference in Fivemiletown.

In conjunction with Presbytery and Congregational Mission Plans, Enniskillen, Cavanaleck & Aughentaine are hosting a Salt Shaker Conference in Fivemiletown Community College on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd April.

Pray for God's enabling for Rebecca Manley Pippert as she speaks and that she will be able to connect well with local Christians.

Pray that this event will spark risk-taking creative efforts in local mission, and raise the faith of Christians in this area so that we can reach family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for Christ.
